Happy New Year - 2018
Last year I started reading Jonathan Cohn’s The Book of Mysteries on January 1, 2017, and I finished this daily devotion December 31, 2017. I was thoroughly blessed by the daily reading as Jonathan helped my to understand of many mysteries of the Bible from the Hebrew perspective. The book helped me to get a better understanding of our Heavenly Father and helped me to grow closer to Him.
This year I have committed to reading Derek Prince’s daily devotion Declaring God’s Word. I have never liked daily devotionals before, but now I am hooked. Derek explains the scriptures in such a way that even children can understand.
I am also doing a self-study Bible course by Derek Prince. As you know if have been studying the Bible almost everyday since I was 21-years old and I thought I knew a thing or two, but I have discovered that I have only scratched the surface.
I am so excited about my studies this year as it is helping me prepare to face what ever come may this year. Please don’t get the idea that I think I am some super-Christian as I am sometimes weak and still have my struggles with the flesh. I’m not perfect, as you may well know, but as long as I stay focused on the WORD I am strong in Him.
This is very important - I know you and your families are very busy and have little extra time, but I pray that you will find the time to get to know the Lord more now than ever before. Daily Bible reading and prayer for your needs (based on The Lord’s Prayer) and for this needs of others is very important for us to overcome in these days ahead.
As you may have noticed I have not written in a month and I cannot tell you why at this time, but I would like to share with you my testimony about a prophecy that the Lord gave me when I was 21-years old as follows:
The following is a study based on the words that were spoken to me when I was 21-years old. I’m not sure if it was a dream or a vision and I am not 100% sure if the person that spoke to me was Jesus or an Angel, but I felt it was Jesus Himself speaking to me. I could see Him standing by my bed as He spoke me, but I could not see His face. He said to me, “Do not worry, everything will be all right!”
The word for “Worry” means to be afraid, fearful, anxious, and to be troubled with cares. I have noticed that whenever I am under the stress of these conditions I cannot think clearly.
For all these years I had not understood why He appeared to me with that message, but now I am beginning to understand that He is preparing me for a future event that will happen during these last days.
Perhaps this message from the Lord was to prepare me for happened to me in December 2017. I cannot give you the details at this time except that the Lord protected me from the adversary.
If you would like to read more as to what the scriptures have to say about why we should not worry, be afraid, be in fear, or anxious for anything I would like to send you a 9-page scripture study that will help you be prepared for what is to come in these last days and to be an overcomer. Please make your request using the "CONTACT FORM". I will send you a pdf copy via email.
