Who Am I?

Some have said of me that I do not matter because I am not a real person.  They say I'm just a blob of matter –

Some have said its okay to kill me because I’m not alive-

I don’t know who my father is, not sure if my mother knows either-

I wonder why my mother did not protect me from the jaws of death-

I moved and squirmed to avoid the jaws of death that were after me-

I fought as hard as I could, but the jaws of death pulled me apart into several pieces-

Mother how could you not know that our Heavenly Father had a plan for me even before the foundation of the earth?  How could you not know that I was created in His image and you were chosen to bring me into this world so that I could make a difference?-

Mother how could you not know my coming into existence was not by accident?-

Mother how could you not know that I was here for a purpose, for God had sent me to you?-

I asked the Lord to forgive you because you didn’t did not know my existence was real. You were deceived by the evil in the world.-

Please do not weep for me as I am not alone, for I am with billions of others, just like me.-

God has prepared a special place in Heaven us and I talk get to the Father everyday about you. I tell Him and I miss you and want you to be with me.  I asked Him to forgive you, as I have, and to bring you to me.-

I want you to hold me and love me as it was meant to be, for you see the reason I was created in the first place was to be a blessing of joy to you. You were always are my mission - I was His gift to you because He loves you-

I know you must think of me and wonder about me and what could have been. I know you secretly grieve for me because as a mother a part of yourself died when I died. Mother forgive yourself as I have forgiven you. Seek the Father and He will give you peace. -

Mother I also pray for my earthly father, whoever he may be, because I miss you both and pray for you every day. I cannot wait for us to be together as it was meant to be.-

The current earthly laws says you have a legal right to make your own choices and I respect your right to make a choice.  I wasn't given any legal rights because I am not considered a person, but as for me my Heavenly Father gave me the choice to love you or not to love you.  Therefore I am excercising my heavenly legal rights and I choose life.  I choose you to live life with me eternally, but you have to make another choice.  You must decide to accept His love and forgiveness.  I pray you will make the right choice this time.  I will be waiting for your decision. I love you Mom.

The Greatest Gift a Father Can Receive

Ephesians 3:20 is one of my favorite scriptures I use to worship and praise our Heavenly Father in my own paraphrased version is as follows: “Lord you have blessed me exceeding and abundantly beyond all that I could ask for or even think of.” I give thanks to my Heavenly Father every day because He has made me so rich in a family that is filled with love, joy, and peace, which is worth more than material wealth and possessions. The Father loves the thanks and praise that His children offer Him.

As a father I too love thanks and praise from my children. Praise and Thanks are the greatest gifts that a child can give their parent. My Christmas gift has already arrived as both my sons have shared with me that the life that I lived before them was the inspiration that shaped their character of who they are. The both shared this message separately that their fondest memory of me was, as children growing up, they always found me at the kitchen table studying the Bible when they got up in the mornings.

I remember thinking that I had not done much in my life that the Lord would be proud of, but now I know that’s not true. The Lord said to His disciples that they would do greater things than He did. Now I think better understand what He meant. I think He was talking about our seed as in the parable of the sower. He was talking about our planting our seed in fertile soil and new life would burst forth through the crust of that soil and produce an abundant harvest. My seed’s seed has been planted and has burst forth new life, which is a perpetual, never ending, seed time and harvest. (Genesis 8:21-22) As you can see I have a lot to be thankful for.

The Greatest Gift a Father Can Receive is the gift I received from my two sons, the gift of thanks and praise. The Greatest Gift you can give your Heavenly Father is the gift of thanksgiving and praise for the free gift of sacrifice He made for us on the cross. He gave it all to deliver us from the curse of sin and death so that we might have life. No matter what your circumstances are right now, no matter what you’ve done in the past, give Him thanks for what He has done (Ephesians 5:20). Give Him thanks no matter how bad things may look. Give Him thanks even though you think you do not deserve His love. Give Him thanks even though your flesh is still holding on to sin. Give Him thanks because your spirit, the real man, was reborn and lives forever, not your flesh.

Spend time with your Heavenly Father every day. He’s waiting to hear from you. Tell Him about your hurts and disappointments. Tell Him about your needs. But, more importantly take the time to tell Him about the things He’s already done for you and when you do you will find the joy and peace that you long for.

The Re-Birth

Recently I was driving to work and for some strange reason I was thinking about the term rebirth or born again. I think “born again” is a term that has been worn out in the media ever since the Jimmy Carter days so I didn’t like to use that term.

The Holy Spirit spoke to my spirit with a picture I had never thought of before. He revealed to me that the spirit man is changed from death to life as if he passed through a womb and came out a new spirit man. The old spirit man of sin is dead and the new spirit man is a new creation and is alive forever more. The new spirit man is no longer under the curse of the law of sin and death.

The change or this re-birth takes place the moment that one accepts the free gift that Jesus provided. His free gift was paying the price (once and for all) for our redemption through His shed blood, death, and resurrection. All one has to do is accept that free gift by believing that Jesus paid that price for us and by faith believe that we heirs and joint heirs with Jesus.

I said to the Lord, “Sometimes I do not feel saved.” And He said, “The good news of the gospel is not based on our feelings (mind, will, and emotions). If it was then no one would be worthy of salvation.” He said the spirit of a man is changed, but the body and the mind of a man are still of this worldly system. When the body dies it goes back to the dust of the ground, but the spirit man lives forever and is transferred to heaven to await the resurrection. At the resurrection the body will be re-created from the dust of the earth and reunited with the spirit man, but this time the body will be a glorified body. This glorified body is necessary so that the spirit man can be active here on earth just as Adam was in the beginning. You see we will have an active job to do here on this earth for eternity. Our bodies will also be glorified bodies therefore we will also be able to be active in heaven and all the universes of the heavens.

I cannot imagine why anyone would not want to accept the free gift that Jesus has for us, but unfortunately some will reject His free gift. Some have said, "I do not believe a loving God would create hell and do not believe there is such a thing as hell. God did not create hell for mankind. He created it for the future punishment of the fallen angels. Because of the fall of man, man too will receive this punishment at the great white throne of judgement. God does not want anyone to go to hell, but rather He has no choice for those that have heard the gospel and have rejected His Son. Those that reject Jesus send themselves to hell, not God.

Some religions have tried to make His gift complicated and difficult, but He made it easy just by accepting His free gift in faith. When you do your spirit man will be changed even though you may not feel a change in your mind or body. Your mind and body will notice the change as you get to know Him through reading and meditating on His Word.

I am so excited to think about Jesus will someday soon come back to earth and rule and reign here on earth for 1000-years and I’m going to be a part of His Kingdom. I cannot wait to find out what my eternal job will be. I look forward to seeing you there.

Letter from Jesus about Christmas

It has come to my attention that many of you are upset that folks are taking My name out of the season.  Maybe you've forgotten that I wasn't actually born during this time of the year and that it was some of your predecessors who decided to celebrate My birthday on what was actually a time of pagan festival. Although I do appreciate being remembered anytime.

How I personally feel about this celebration can probably be most easily understood by those of you who have been blessed with children of your own. I don't care what you call the day. If you want to celebrate My birth, just GET ALONG AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Now, having said that let Me go on. If it bothers you that the town in which you live doesn't allow a scene depicting My birth, then just get rid of a couple of Santas and snowmen and put in a small Nativity scene on your own front lawn.  If all My followers did that there wouldn't be any need for such a scene on the town square because there would be many of them all around town.

Stop worrying about the fact that people are calling the tree a holiday tree, instead of a Christmas tree. It was I who made all trees. You can remember Me anytime you see any tree. Decorate a grape vine if you wish: I actually spoke of that one in a teaching, explaining who I am in relation to you and what each of our tasks were. If you have forgotten that one, look up John 15: 1 - 8.

If you want to give Me a present in remembrance of My birth here is my wish list. Choose something from it:

1. Instead of writing protest letters objecting to the way My birthday is being celebrated, write letters of love and hope to soldiers away from home. They are terribly afraid and lonely this time of year. I know, they tell Me all the time.
2. Visit someone in a nursing home. You don't have to know them personally. They just need to know that someone cares about them. 
3. Instead of writing the President and complaining about the wording on the cards his staff will be sending out this year, why don't you write and tell him that you'll be praying for him and his family this year. Then follow up. It will be nice hearing from you again. 
4. Instead of giving your children a lot of gifts you can't afford and they don't need, spend time with them. Tell them the story of My birth, and why I came to live with you down here. Hold them in your arms and remind them that I love them. 
5. Pick someone that has hurt you in the past and forgive him or her. 
6. Did you know that someone in your town will attempt to take their own life this season because they feel so alone and hopeless? Since you don't know who that person is, try giving everyone you meet a warm smile; it could make the difference. 
7. Instead of nit picking about what the retailer in your town calls the holiday, be patient with the people who work there. Give them a warm smile and a kind word. Even if they aren't allowed to wish you a "Merry Christmas" that doesn't keep you from wishing them one. Then stop shopping there on Sunday. If the store didn't make so much money on that day they'd close and let their employees spend the day at home with their families. 
8. If you really want to make a difference, support a missionary-- especially one who takes My love and Good News to those who have never heard My name. 
9. Here's a good one. There are individuals and whole families in your town who not only will have no Christmas" tree, but neither will they have any presents to give or receive. If you don't know them, buy some food and a few gifts and give them to the Salvation Army or some other charity which believes in Me and they will make the delivery for you. 
10. Finally, if you want to make a statement about your belief in and loyalty to Me, then behave like a Christian. Don't do things in secret that you wouldn't do in My presence. Let people know by your actions that you are one of mine.

Don't forget; I am God and can take care of Myself. Just love Me and do what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all the rest. Check out the list above and get to work; time is short.  I'll help you, but the ball is now in your court. And do have a most blessed Christmas with all those whom you love and remember:
